I'll start with an introduction. My name is Kyle.
Professionally, I am a lead web developer with the leading website for sports card and collectible enthusiasts. I have years of web development experience, from HTML sites to complex, database driven web applications. On the side, I'm learning mobile development and Ruby on Rails. My long term goal is to become a development manager for a large web-based solution.
Previously, I was a Peace Corps volunteer, living in the Republic of Armenia. I have seen much of the world, but not enough to satisfy me. The more I see, the more I do, and the more I learn about the world around me shapes who I am, inspires what I will be, and humbly teaches me that I still have a lot to learn.
I recently got married in March to my beautiful wife. My mantra is, "work hard, play hard." I love technology, and always try to expand my knowledge. Some things that interest me are skiing, world travel, action movies, web site design, learning new things, laying in my hammock, Mexican food, a cold beer on a summer day, weekend getaways, and ugly Christmas sweaters.
Now I have a website, a domain name, a little space in the World Wide Web to call my own. Where it will go, and what it will become, I do not know. But like Tolkien once said, "Not all who wander are lost." Welcome.
